RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Testing, disassembly, diagnosis, and assembly of various hydraulic and electro-hydraulic components. Established familiarity with component maintenance/overhaul manuals, service bulletins, system schematics, and drawings. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education and/or experience: Two-year degree or certificate from an accredited two (2) year college, university or technical school in related field OR equivalent military training. Several years directly related experience in the field of bench level hydraulic component repair. Knowledge, skills, and abilities: Extensive experience with manual and electro-hydraulic flight controls. Advanced hands-on knowledge of hydraulic functions and testing. Sound foundation of knowledge of hydraulic servos, electro controlled servos, yaw controlled systems, and auto pilot controls. Self-starter, capable of producing high quality repairs in a fast paced environment. A desire to excel in the aviation maintenance field, with superior analytical and deductive reasoning skills, mechanical ability, and an excellent attention to detail are essential.
